2020 was a year full of turbulence due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Many individuals and their families have gone through the hardest year of their lives. To help in the best way we could, The International Autos Group gave back to the members of the community in need by giving away 2 NEW CARS! West Allis Winner: The Wernicke Family
It is an understatement to say that the past year has been extremely hard on this family. We read wife and step-mom, Lori Wernicke's entry and knew a new vehicle would be monumental to the family.  Dean Wernicke lost his job due to COVID-19 in March. At  the time, his 22-year-old son, Andrew Wernicke's 10 year battle with cancer had intensified. The family's current car had almost 300,000 miles, due to driving to other states for doctor appointments.
Orland Park Winner: Carole Kelly
The past year has extremely hard on Carole and her family. Carole's mom, Dolores Kelly, submitted the entry on behalf of Carole. Carole is single mom of 2 daughters, one of which has special needs. Prior to the pandemic, Carole was employed as school bus driver. She has lost her job twice due to schools closing. Dolores has been doing all she can to help support her daughter, but her pay has also been drastically cut.
